July 2014 year-on-year decrease of cotton imports by 17%

According to China customs, July China's cumulative imports of cotton 280,000 tons, compared with June increase of 62,000 tons, the increase of 28.4%. The year-on-year decrease of 58,000 tons, reduced by 17%.
The first 11 months of the year (2013.9-2014.7) China's total imports of cotton 2.8 million tons, the year-on-year decrease of 32.1%. The first 7 months of this year the cumulative import of cotton 1.675 million tons, the year-on-year decrease of 39.1%.
